Three years ago, we bought an older home that had been renovated by the previous owner, and some of the electrical was, to say the least, erratic. 4-star Electric and Matt in particular were extraordinarily good at telling us exactly what needed to happen and why. I felt respected and that the answers we were given were honest. When you end up having to spend a great deal of money to revamp most of the electrical in your home, it absolutely helps to have confidence in the people doing the work, and I cannot say enough good things about all the staff that we have dealt with.

4-star was the first to reply to my request to get a quote. They even arranged and booked a time right from the start. The caveat here is that they wanted to charge me $70 for a service visit to get the quote. In addition, they just assumed I wanted the work done at the same time as the quote. I called them 24h hours before the visit to clarify all this, and the nice lady on the phone waived the service fee and said the tech would just do the quote.
Jesse Tompkins came to do the quote. He called ahead and was super professional. The quote took about 45 mins cause he was carefully considering the options.
The cost was much more than I expected, but tbh I had no idea what to expect. I think I just wanted it to be $600 when it was really closer to $2800.
I accepted the quote with the metal conduit, and Jesse got to work right away. He even went back to the shop to get help. The final job took about 3 hours x 2 people + materials. Jesse even took the time to book the inspector for a future date.
Overall I would recommend this company 100%. Just know you will be paying for quality. I didn’t see any corners being cut. Check out the pics, I think the final result is great.

When replacing an outdoor light I found out that it was missing a junction box. I reached to 4-Star Electric based on the positive reviews that I had seen online and I am glad I did.

I was extremely impressed with the job that Brett did. He provided a clear explanation of the cost and time. The work he did was fantastic and I appreciated the time and effort with the job he did. After the installation, he did an inspection of the panels and corrected a couple of minor issue that he found. I also liked that the invoice included photos of work done.

It was a great experience from start to finish.
