Protecting your animals and keeping them close to home has never been easier. With Invisible Fence®, you can allow your pet to play freely in the yard, right up to your property line. You won’t have to worry about your dog breaking out, getting on the road of wandering off. Invisible Fence of Northern Alberta shares more:
How does Invisible Fence® work?
Simply put, an insulated wire is buried around the perimeter of your property. This creates the invisible boundary. A transmitter sends a radio signal along the wire. Meanwhile, your pet wears a Computer Collar® Receiver. When they get close to the perimeter, it emits a warning sound. If they proceed, it gives a gentle static correction that reminds your pet that they’ve reached the limits of their boundary.
Invisible Fence is safe.
This invisible containment solution is completely safe for your pet. It’s recommended by dog trainers, animal behaviorists and veterinarians. The correction from the Computer Collar® Receiver might be startling or uncomfortable, but it does not cause pain. Most pets only feel it once or twice before giving up on challenging the system.
Plus, the type and strength of the correction is adjusted according to your specific pet. It is based on the personality of your pet, not their size or breed. Combine this with a special animal behaviorist-approved training program for your pet, and you’ll see that learning this new boundary system will be a stress-free transition for them.
Why training is so important.
Electric dog fences only work as good as the amount of time you train your dog to understand where the boundary is. You must teach your dog where the boundaries are, and they will quickly learn what happens when they push their limits.
When you install Invisible Fence®, a professional Pet Trainer will work with your dog, introducing the static correction to your pet to help reinforce the boundary. Their trainers are certified in Perfect Start™ Plus Training. They are able to customize the training and technology to each of your pets’ needs and behaviors. They can also provide training for cats. Your pets will quickly learn where they can and cannot go.
