Learning About Tile Patterns & Styles

There are many benefits to installing tile in your home. It is durable, easy to clean and maintain, can increase your property value and incredibly versatile in design. Tile is aesthetically pleasing in it’s most natural form, but adding a patterned tile to any room can really add a personal effect, whether it be a bathroom, kitchen, or bedroom. Here is some useful information about different patterns and styles of tile.

Patterned Tile

If you like the more rustic feel you can go with a barn wood look, which is nice in the bedrooms and main living areas, or if you’re looking for something more fun in the kitchen you could use Marrakesh by Julian Tile (see picture below).

Hex and Shaped Tiles

Subway tiles are soon out the door as they are being attractively replaced by other shapes like hexagon, octagon, and triangle. Using a shaped tile is an easy way to make a statement in a room, it gives a nice easy design with little effort!
