If your home loses too much heat, any pipes running along the exterior wall that is not insulated can start to freeze. Frozen pipes can lead to leaks or even serious ruptures. Also, the temperature in your home will start to drop. It can hold its heat for a while, but soon the temperature will drop to uncomfortable and then dangerous levels.<\/p>\n<p>If your furnace goes out, do a little DIY troubleshooting first.
