We hired True North Roofing for our roofing project. I was most impressed by the owner/estimator Jeff Joyal . Where the other estimators were quick to leave and emailed their quotes to me, Jeff spent time with me and answered all my questions. Then he went back to his truck and hand wrote a most competitive quote and presented it to me in person. A side job to apply vinyl siding on my gables, and cladding on my fireplace chimney was part of the quote. I thought that part of the quote exceeded my budget. Jeff was willing to negotiate. He said he would sharpen his pencil and get back to me. Jeff came back with an overall quote that was far superior to the 3 other quotes.
I hired True North and within a week of signing the contract, our project is now complete. Jeff actually did the work on the gables and fireplace chimney himself . He did a wonderful job.The roofing crew was happy and respectful and did a wonderful job on the roof. One sheet of rotten plywood had to be replaced. They took pictures of it to show me the decay. Very ethical. The clean up was fantastic. Geoff the other owner came over for a final inspection and was most friendly as well. I highly recommend True North Roofing. Fine workmanship, best warranty , and very competitive pricing , describes True North Roofing. Highly Recommend! Jeff was very thorough and transparent in ensuring that we were well informed on our options and how the entire process would go before a contract was signed. Materials were delivered in advance and Jeff made sure everything was taken care of the same day when the materials were placed in the wrong spot. The crew completed the job in one day and did a great job with the cleanup. Quote was very competitive but the service and communication was what ultimately won us over.

We interviewed 5 roofing companies as it is an expensive project and needs to be done correctly. Two of the companies would not even go up on my roof to inspect, they were out of the running for our contract just on those grounds alone. My neighbour hired True North last year, so we gave Jeff a call. Jeff was pleasant and answered all of our questions, no matter how trivial they were. He took pictures and showed us issues that were already present from the builder and suggested solutions. His crew was excellent and worked hard. My roof was finished in one day.
